Scary comments from the Obama administration
August 30, 2009

There are so many scary comments from the Obama administration that I really do not know where to begin. For starters , how about a statement in regard to the First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law” abridging freedom of speech. In case you missed it, our Democrat friends would like to bring back the so-called “Fairness Doctrine”. Obama has appointed a new “diversity czar”. His name is Mark Lloyd, as Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer for the FCC. Lloyd is a strong supporter of the “fairness Doctrine”. Lloyd, in his capacity as Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress, he co-authored a paper titled “The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio.” The fairness Doctrine would stifle and possibly eliminate conservative talk shows. How do I describe the two opposite philosophies of what Obama might consider. Two Italian idioms explain it all. “Dolce Far Niente" and "Porca Miseria". “The Sweetness of doing nothing or sweet idleness” and “Pig Misery”. Why can't Obama leave well enough alone for a while? Why doesn’t he take a break and let the economy do its thing and “deep-six” some of his radical proposals? If he continues to develop new types of spending that does not create new jobs?, but will bring on the misery. On the creation of new jobs, I have “harped” on the futility of Obama’s economic theories that do not create new jobs. Again, think of the potential of our energy reserves that could be developed and create new jobs at relatively low costs to the government. This applies to the State of California and the Federal Government.

The other sad story is how Attorney General Eric Holder is continuing to look for a scapegoat in the CIA inquisition of our intelligence agencies. Who's side is he on? He takes his orders from the ACLU and the left-wing whackos that give no credit to our efforts to stop further attacks on our nation. How can he call himself pro-American and not support efforts to protect its citizens? Another clue less Obama appointee? When I was stationed at Ft. Meade Md. While NSA was building its intelligence agency, my job was to patrol the building site for intruders. My squad was on alert 24/7 with live ammo and instructions to shoot any suspected intruders if they did not surrender to us when challenged. I thanked my men and told them of their fine performance. I was only a first Lieutenant but was proud of my service. Thank goodness, the ACLU wasn’t snooping around asking questions.
