The division of America -
A crisis in understanding of important issues.
April 3, 2007

The 2006 elections saw hysteria at its peak with nothing but conspiracy theories and the constant hammering of conservative senators and Republican house reps. The voting public bought into the scenario without substantial facts in front of them but with a very sophisticated litany of innuendos and doctored facts that made the difference. The important issues like the economy which everyone seems to take for granted never mentions the role of the Bush tax cuts of 2003 which has contributed to the low unemployment numbers, the increasing payrolls, corporate profits up, household wealth up and inflation contained. It is as if nothing positive is happening to our country with our solid economic progress. When asked by poll takers about the economy, respondents answer that they were not very optimistic and were concerned about its direction. I realize that the average American understands very little of economics but the constant negative headlines and omission of positive news portrays a distrust of what is really going on. The press has done its job. I can cite many articles by the AP, N.Y. Times and Washington Post that are so bias that you would think that they have no economic writers with an education in regard to the U.S. economy.

The Global Warming dilemma: It is a given in many circles that this subject is a religion and that if you don‘t agree with Al Gore’s movie and his supporters, you are not only wrong but are causing a disaster with your views. Many scientists have suggested that perhaps the earth has been at the mercy of natural climate change caused by processes that man cannot control. The simultlaneous warming of Mars and the Earth suggests that the Sun may be a natural cause of this event. I have yet to see a main-stream media program present both sides of this argument.

Attorney Gonzales: What else can be said about this non-event? Never mind that when Janet Reno fired 93 U.S. attorneys in March 1993, there were ongoing investigations of Rep Rostenkowski and Jay B. Stephens, U.S. attorney was within 30 days of a decision. George Banks who was replaced before he could pursue charges regarding Whitewater and the Rose Law firm.

The worst and most devastating events currently being orchestrated by the Democrat Party and some liberal Republicans is the traitrerous actions against our military men and women in Iraq. I only spent two years in the Army but if at that time Congress was assisting the enemy and wishing for a U.S. defeat, I would be unable to contain myself. These senators like Harry Reid, Russ Feingold, Chuck Shumer and others plus members of the House are nothing but “Fifth Column” traitors. Here we are in the United States of America and we are putting our own troops in more harm’s way than they need to have. I forgot to mention that traitor princess, Nancy Pelosi. This is a disgrace and a black mark on our country’s history.

Where is our spirit, our patriotism, our love of country? Instead we hear blame, conspiracy theories and hope for defeat. May God have mercy on the U.S.A.
