Obama Cabinet
The recent confrontation with the Somali pirates was a positive act by the USA. Despite the pacifists in the Obama cabinet, I felt that the solution was a good one. At a recent rotary Club meeting in Coronado, Ca. I heard a U.S.Navy Captain speak of the sacrifices that the sailors were undergoing in today’s Navy. He pointed out that stress was a problem with Navy families when sailors were deployed for 6 of 7 years without a longer break in between. Our brave men and women and their families should be praised and saluted for their commitment.
After hearing the Captain speak, I read an article put out by Janet Napolitano of the Homeland Security Dept. In the article, her department warned law enforcement officials about a rise in “rightwing extremist activity”. She was referring to returning veterans and even compared veterans to Tim McVeigh and his terrible acts of violence. Where do the Democrats get their ideas and opinions? Most of Obama’s staff wants to blame our country and especially our military for the ills of the world.
Another ridiculous appointment is Obama’s attempt to appoint pro-choice candidates as ambassadors to the Vatican expecting a positive response. The latest rejection was Caroline Kennedy. Obama either doesn’t understand Catholicism or doesn’t care.
